WOYWW 847/67: Fabulous Retreat

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

My desk shows some of the stamps I was playing with before I headed off to the Clarity retreat last week.  Barbara will be on HobbyMaker today at 1pm and 4pm showcasing them and you will see my samples over the next few days on my blog.  I  am busy working on more secret stuff so had to stage the desk.
This is the sample that was on yesterday's blog.
This was my desk last Thursday at the start of the second day of the retreat - we were learning all about Acrylic paint and I learnt so much.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes.  I had a lovely weekend and family get together and also a great musical afternoon with the u3a recorder group yesterday.  Next Saturday I will be back in Lichfield for a play day with Helen Hooker (well known in the recorder community).  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

First apologies for my absence last week. Major power issues at home, I’ll do two finger typing on my iPad if I must. Love the samples, the box is stunning. Must look up HobbyMaker. Never heard of it! Happy WOYWW

Love the stamp storage and that they have been well used already, they look super on the cube. Oh the acrylic workshop looks great and pallet knives are oh so much easier to clean off than brushes. Curious what you learnt on the retreat now - lol. Nice to see the daily sketches too, love the Romani Wagon. Hugs BJ#5

Those little stamps look lovely in the storage trays. Safe and tidy too. The retreat sounds great fun. I was trying to think how long ago it was that I discovered Barbara and her lovely stamps. It has to have been years ago. Since I no longer make cards I have given away most of my stamp collection but I've hung on to Barbara's. Seems there's some things too good to let go. Hope the coming week is as good as last obviously was. Elizabeth x #12
