August ATC and Card: Anything Goes / Rainbow Colours

The prompt for August the swap over on Clarity Crafts Mini Makes and ATCs is anything goes and rainbow colours. Didn’t take me long to come up with an idea.

For the ATC, add the stamp to the back of 3.5” x 2.5” sized piece of Clarity stencil card in Vermillion Archival ink. Add the title in orange, the edition in yellow, the date in Emerald Green Archival ink using a date stamp and the artist in Forget-Me-Not Archival ink using one of the bespoke stamps from the Grunge set.

Add the Maya Angelou rainbow quote from the mini Words of Wisdom stamp set to the front of the ATC in Jet Black Archival ink.

Colour the lettering with distress markers in Festive Berries, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire and Wilted Violet (my go to rainbow colours).

Mask off the stamping with 4.5cm x 7cm rectangle embedder.

Use the Hills and Clouds mask from the build a scene set and Stormy Sky Distress ink to add a border.

To finish the ATC, remove the masking.

For the card, add the 'this too will pass' quote stamp from the larger Words of Wisdom stamp set to a small piece of Clarity stencil card (3.5” x 3.5”) in Jet Black Archival ink.

Colour the words using red, orange, yellow and green Distress markers – as the ATC.

Add one of the Hippie Chicks outlines in the same black ink as before.

Add the hat infill in Salty Ocean Distress Oxide, the top infill in Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide and the trousers in Wilted Violet Distress Oxide.

Colour the flower in pink.

Die cut mats from glitter rainbow card using the 4” and 4.5” nested square dots doodle frame-its frames and panels dies.

Gut the centre of each mat using smaller dies from the same set.

Mat up the topper.

To finish, add to the front of a 5” x 5” white card blank.
