Next, I trimmed stencil card to the same size as the stencil, spritzed it lightly with water, laid it over the inky side of the stencil and burnished with a large baren to transfer the colour.I then reattached the stencil with low tack tape to create a hinge.I used stamps from the Sam’s Shapes It’s a Mixed Bag set in the same colours of Distress Oxides to add interest through the stencil and removed it.I had a spare 2.5” circle of stencil card to hand, so added the same stamping to that. I also die cut a mat from black card using the 2.75” nested circle picot die and matted it up.The background was trimmed all round, edged with a black Sharpie and added to the front of an A5 white card blank.I couldn’t resist adding one of the Triangle People stamps (a recent purchase) in Jet Black Archival ink.I coloured the image using Salty Ocean and Festive Berries Distress markers.
To finish, I added the sentiment topper to the card.
