Dreaming at the End of a Rainbow

The current mid month challenge over on Clarity Crafts Mini Makes & ATCs is to create a mini work of art about what is at the end of a rainbow using different media if possible.  I used Archival ink, water based inks and watercolour pencils to create this piece.

I started by adding the Daydreamer stamp to a small piece of Clarity stencil card in Jet Black Archival ink.

Next, I used the Hills and Clouds mask from the Build a Scene set a Clarity stencil brush and Stormy Sky Distress ink to add a cloudy sky to the topper.

I added a rainbow using Albrecht Dürer watercolour pencils blended out with a watercolour brush pen (#121, #115, #107, #266, #110, #157, #138).

I extended the rainbow with the same colours of Polychromo pencils onto the ground and then added the sentiment from the Daydreamer stamp set in the same ink as before.

To finish, the topper was edged with a black Sharpie pen and added to the front of a 4" x 4" white card blank.
