September Calendar Page

I used one of the 6” x 6” Collage Landscape Prints as the background for my September calendar page.

I chose one of the Viaduct Collage Landscapes.

I then added the houses from the Christmas Mega Build a Landscape stamps in Hickory Grey Distress Archival ink and some bushes in Jet Black Archival ink using the small bush stamp from the Hill Top Treescape stamps. I had masked off the field with low tack tape first.

Next, I added houses from the Buildings & Animals Mega Build a Landscape set in the same grey as before and finished with bushes and trees (Hill Top Treescape set) using first and second generation stamping in Jet Black Archival ink.

I then added fences by masking and using the trunk of a tree to create the posts, finishing with a black micron / Posca pen.

I added a horse into one of the fields at the front and a flock of sheep further back in Jet Black Archival ink (Buildings & Animals).

This was followed by a small hut next to the back fence in the same ink (Buildings & Animals).

Some shading with a grey Polychromo pencil and fleece added to the sheep with a white Posca pen finished the image.

I edged the topper with a black Sharpie pen and added to my Funky Fossil calendar page for September.

To finish, I added one of the Woodblock stickers to reflect my retirement from teaching.
