Savannah Scene on Kraft

I thought I would use kraft card to create this scene using the Savannah Treescape stamps and mask set from Clarity Crafts.

Die cut a topper from kraft card using the 4.5” nested square film strip doodle frame-its frames & panels die.

Mask off the edges using low tack tape and add all the sections of the Savannah Treescape mask to the topper.

Die cut a further panel from black card using the next size larger die and from Clarity stencil card using the 5.5” die from the same set.

Add them to the front of a 6” x 6” kraft card blank.

Take off the bottom section of mask. Add white Colour Cloud ink with a foam tool then colour over the top with Faber-Castel Polychromo #184.

Replace the mask, remove the next section up and repeat, this time using #183.

Repeat with the next section using #185.

Remove the moon mask, add white ink then colour with #184, #191 and #192.

Replace the masks and remove the sky section. Add white ink then colour with #247, #143, #151. Remove all the masks but one and add the larger tree from the Savannah Treescape stamp set in Jet Black Archival ink.

Remove the final mask and add the giraffe and bird in the same ink.

Add the sentiment in a like manner.

To finish, die cut a mat from Clarity stencil card using the 4.5” nested square die, mat up the topper and add it to the card.
