A card using a Gel Print

 I decided to use the gel print that I made in Friday's blog post (see HERE) to create a card using the Abstract Layout 2 die from Clarity Crafts.

I started by die cutting the print using the Abstract Layout 2 die and keeping the insert pieces.

I then used the same die again with black card, but this time used the largest nested dot doodle frame-its frames & panels die to produce an outer edge.

I added this to the front of a 7" x 7" white card blank.

One of Barbara's words stickers was added to a piece of the gel print.

The rest of the pieces were slotted into the frame.

Followed by the sentiment piece.

I laid one of the Pine Tree Overlay stencils over the front of the card and masked around one of the trees with low tack tape.

First I added Carved Pumpkin Distress ink through the aperture.

Then I pounced Jet Black Archival ink through the aperture before removing the stencil.

To finish, I added one of the miniature Birds and Butterfly stamps in the same ink.
