Pine Tree scene Birthday Card

I made full use of both parts of this Pine Overlay stencil to create a scene on a large card.
Mask along the bottom of an 8” x 8” white card blank with a length of low tack tape and add the upper section of Pine 1A from the Pine Trees Treescape overlay stencils set to the front of the card.
Brush Villainous Potion Distress ink through and below the stencil (from lest to right) using a Clarity stencil brush. Add further shading using a Spot On sponge lifting the ink off the stencil.
Mask over the stencilling using the bottom part of the stencil. Move the top half and add Uncharted Mariner Distress ink in the same way as before.  Add a large moon mask.
Move the top art of the stencil lower down and add Black Soot Distress ink through and below the apertures. Remove the low tack tape and stencil.
Brush Tumbled Glass Distress ink outward from the centre of the moon mask. Remove the mask.
Add shadows using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#153, #249, #181).
Add birds in Jet Black Archival ink using stamps from the Just Woodland and Birds set.
To finish, add a sentiment using the Happy Birthday occasions sentiments in the same ink.
