A Birthday Card For A Son

It was my youngest son's birthday last month - here is the card I made for him.
Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 5” nested square heart doodle frame-its frames & panel die. Die cut a mat from Antarctica companion paper using the corresponding nested square picot die.
Mask off the outer frame with low tack tape, add the thick and thin plaid stencil over the top and brush Chipped Sapphire Distress ink through the apertures.
Move the stencil and blend French Ultramarine Archival ink through the apertures with a foam tool.
Using the Cherry Green’s Number stamps add 25 to the appropriate die cut shapes in Medieval Blue Versafine Clair ink.
Add a Happy Birthday Occasion sentiment directly onto the topper in the same ink.
Add the numbers to the topper.
Add SON directly to the topper in the same ink as before using the Word Chain Alphabet.
To finish, mat up the topper and add it to the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank.
