This time I used gelatos through one of the stripe A4 square stencils to create the background for a card.Add the outer circle mask from the Simple Shapes Apertures set onto a piece of Clarity stencil card and mask up the edges with low tack tape. Add the upper section from the Pine Forest mask (Woodland set).Brush Evergreen Bough Distress ink across the aperture with a Clarity stencil brush. Add Rustic Wilderness Distress ink at the bottom, blending up from the bottom with a spot on sponge. Add further Evergreen Bough ink with a brush. Remove the pine forest upper mask and replace with the lower one. Blend blue ink left on a stencil brush around the upper edges of the circle aperture and remove the masking.Replace the circle mask outer with the circle mask inner. Trim evenly each side to 6” x 6”. Add one of the stripe A4 square stencil over the top and blend green Gelato down the centre stripe. Add red, orange and yellow gelatos to the left and blue, indigo and violet to the right – blend out with fingers. Continue the background until finished using the same colours in turn. Remove the stencil and mask. Add the fly away boy from the family miniatures stamp set in Jet Black archival ink. Die cut a mat from black card using the largest nested squares picot die, mat up the topper and add it to the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank. To finish, add a couple of the Pinky Gray greetings stickers.
