Butterfly Kisses

This time I focussed on the silhouette butterflies for the background and focal point.

Add one of the Just Butterflies and Bees Silhouette stamps to a piece of Clarity stencil card in Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide.
Repeat to create a background also using Speckled Egg and Cracked Pistachio Oxides.
Use small scissors, a craft knife and ruler to cut round the outside edges of the background.
Die cut a mat from a piece of Antarctica Companion paper using the largest nested squares picot die and mat up the background.
Add the topper to the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank.
Stamp the round butterfly silhouette from the same set onto a small piece of Clarity stencil card in Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide. Heat emboss with holographic embossing powder.
Colour the butterfly using Faber-Castell Polychromos to match the background colours (#156, #172).
Die cut the topper using the 2.5” nested circle die and a mat from an offcut of Antarctica companion paper using the corresponding picot die.
Mat up the topper and add it to the card using foam pads.
Finish the card using one of the KISS Words stickers, double matted on the companion papers.
