Art Is What You Make It

This time I had fun with the Family Miniatures stamp set on a postcard using one of the leaf masks and the wide stripe A4 square stencil.

Add the Ivy Leaf outer mask to one of the quote postcards from set 3. Mask round the edges with low tack tape.

Add the wide stripe A4 square stencil at an angle.

Blend Wilted Violet Distress ink trough the stencil and leaf aperture with a Clarity stencil brush.

Move the stencil down and blend Picked Raspberry Distress ink through in the same way.

Replace the mask outer with the mask inner.

Lay the stencil back down and blend more Wilted Violet Distress ink through partially as before.

Move the stencil and add Picked Raspberry ink in the same manner.

Remove the mask and go round the outside of the leaf with a black fine liner.

Add the boy on the tyre swing, the man and boy and the umbrella man from the Family Miniatures set in Jet Black Archival ink.

To finish, add a drop shadow to the leaf with a mauve watercolour pencil, blended out with a watercolour brush pen.
