WOYWW 795/15: Birthday Treats

Welcome to WOYWW, the blog link up of desks which was started over 15 years ago by Julia and kindly entrusted to me.

My desk this week shows three gorgeous felted pictures by Tilly Tea Dance which I treated myself to for my birthday last Thursday.  I bought the largest and smallest while out with Eva last Tuesday at the Shropshire hills Discovery Centre and the one on the right was on Twiglet's desk last week.  I made enquiries as to the price and sent off for it.
I am off out for my annual health review this morning so will do most of my visiting on my return.  I will be walking there and back - I am doing a lot more walking these days, and will be interested to find out how much weight I have lost since my last check.  My twin sister had a small stroke last week following a positive test for Covid.  Thankfully she was treated quickly and is now fully recovered from the effects but taking it easy - no 10 half marathons in 10 days as she originally planned.

Stay safe and thanks for joining in with WOYWW.

Oh no! Sorry to hear about your sister but good news she is recovering. Covid is still no joke, especially for older folks and people with other conditions. Best of luck with your health check. I’m wrung out from all mine but happy nothing new was revealed, just the same old crap lol! Loving the collages every week. Are you tired of them yet?

Best wishes to your sister - it's a weird bug and still lots of it about. Thanks for sharing your lovely Tilly Tea Dance artwork. The big foxglove pic was my favourite in her exhibition too! I love those little birds in your collages. x x Jo

Adore the birthday treats they are all lovely. Super journal pages, understand the Birthday to US now as you mentioned your twin. Glad to hear she is recovering from her health scare. Yes the walking is good, hope you have lost some weight, I must go weigh myself too. I lost 4 lb in the first 4 weeks of my new food regime but sadly nothing last week.... Hugs BJ#12

I love your birthday Tilly pictures; she’s very talented. So sorry to hear about the double trouble your twin’s suffered and I’m glad she was treated quickly. I do hope she’s ok.
I seem to have missed a week number somehow - I quickly changed mine to 795 when I realised. I wonder where it went! Take care and happy WOYWW

How scary that must have been for you all! Good for you for walking. I used to walk, but I can't anymore because of my ankle. But I'm hoping to get back to it. Funny, I can play pickleball, but can't walk for very long, or stand for very long!
Your Tilly purchases are beautiful! And my favourite journal page this week is August 24th! Sorry I'm so late, have a lovely week, Lindart #14
