Colourful Autumnal Frame

This time I used the Autumn icon stamps to help create a colourful frame for one of the bijou Autumn children.

Stamp the boy and the hare from Linda Williams Bijou autumn stamp set into the centre of a 6” x 6” white card blank in Black soot archival ink.

Add masking tape round the edges of the card and add the 3” square embedder over the top of the images. Brush Mustard seed, Festive Berries and Carved Pumpkin Distress inks through over the resulting frame aperture.

Add stamping in Acorn Versafine Clair ink using the icon images from the smaller Autumn stamp set and the leaves from the main stamp set.

Remove the masking.

Colour the images using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#108, #111, #223, #117, #105, #186, #180, #176).

To finish add one of the Nested Square doodle frame- its frames die cut from gold card.
