Backdrop Hearts

For my last sample using the Clarity Christmas Quote stamps (set 4), I combined them with the heart backdrop stamps.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the largest nested squares die and a mat from black card using the corresponding picot die.

Attach the topper to an 8” x 8” white card blank using repositionable double sided tape. Add Victorian Velvet and Seedless Preserves Oxides to the large backdrop heart stamp and add colour to the card front and topper.

Add further stamping in the same colours.

Add the same colour inks to the smaller backdrop heart stamp and add it to the topper only.

Add one of the Christmas quote stamps in Black Soot Distress archival ink to the centre of the small heart.

Add further stamping to the topper in Victorian Velvet Distress Oxide using some of the remaining quotes.

To finish, mat up the topper and add it to the card front lining up the stamping.
