WOYWW 755: Poorly Car Again

Well the concert went well on Saturday - pity my car broke down on the way home again with the same problem as three weeks ago.  Luckily my brother hadn't gone past the layby I managed to get to and gave me a lift home.  I limped the car home at 35mph the following day with Hubby following behind and it went in for a diagnostic with an electrical specialist yesterday afternoon.  He cleared everything and said I would probably need a new battery and there seems to be a problem with one of the fuel injectors.  He wants me to drive it until the light comes on again so he can run a second diagnostic as he wasn't sure what was actual and what could be historic and never cleared previously. So I am back on the road for now.

My desk shows something I couldn't resist over half term. Janeway and Q in duck form!

We have had the new fascias and soffits fitted over the last couple of days.  They are coming back today to finish off the last odds and ends and it already makes a big difference even with the scaffolding still up.

A character in the Zelda game.
One of my favourite vegetables.
Busy day at work today and hoping to get the departmental action plan finished tomorrow.  Stay safe everyone and Happy WOYWW - please visit Julias at Stamping Ground for more explanation.

What a "B" the car is being. Sorry to hear about it.
Love the ducks - I wouldn't have been able to9resist them either.
I remember when we had new |F&S's fitted, it did make a difference and the new doors and windows just done have made a difference. Funny, but now they are not wooden doors we don't have as many spiders - strange!
Will be in touch with you, I have a query.

Cars are so convenient but are money pits (we had to have a new clutch recently). Hope they manage to get to the bottom of it all. Glad all the roof stuff is nearly finished too, it’ll make a difference!

Me too, hope they find out what's going on with the car. That's the problem with modern cars it's not so easy to find out what's going on. Bet you're pleased the roof is sorted and I'm loving the journal collection. Have a very happy woyww, Angela x11x

Yep I love broccoli too (hope that's what it is LOL) Tingle lost me and no idea what the ducks are - must google that.... So sorry to hear about the car it is dead scary when things go wrong, and the more so if they aren't quite fixed. Things have become far too complicated these days, I hope it doesn't leave you in a pickle if and when the light comes on. My friend had an issue with theirs driving for a week away, they got it supposedly fixed whilst away near Scotland but it happened again on the way home and they took 26 hours to get home via 4 lots of flat bed recovery vehicles! Eew, Sarah, departmental action plan…sounds totally grim to me, it I bet it is good in terms of planning and achieving! So sorry about the car, it’s horrid driving about knowing you may break down at any point…we had something that sounds similar that took months to diagnose but ended up being the need for new spark plugs. Months of stop start driving. I wish you a far quicker outcome ! The ducks make me smile, I must say that Janeway looks quite frowny!

Happy WOYWW. We have a diesel Shogun on the farm that has a similar problem. Very annoying when it kept happening. Love the ducks and the doodles. I love broccoli too, but it is on the list for 'can only eat a small amount occasionally'. I am eating green beans instead. Ali x #15

Cars can be so frustrating at times! I hope yours gets well soon! My favourite drawing this week is also one if my favourite veggies! My mother did a painting of a girl riding on a horse with a tree in her hand, and I always tease her that the girl has broccoli in her hand! Have a wonderful week, Lindart #16

When I read your post I already thought about comments about this-or-that but then I came to your drawings and saw Tingly... ohmy, a Zelda-lover? Here too! I am playing 'Breath of the Wild' right now and the latest game (Tears of the Kingdom) lays waiting... But your first drawing, Languid, is wonderful too. I haven't seen much of your drawings lately and I can tell you grew! Practice makes progress indeed! Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day, have a great day/weekend. Love from Holland, Marit #10
