Musical House Move

A friend is moving house and leaving our recorder ensemble.  I made this card for the group to sign.

Die cut the Town Aperture Fresh Cut Die from a piece of Clarity stencil card.

Mask off the sides of the finest music frame before inking with Nocturne Versafine Clair ink and add the bottom section to the top and bottom of the topper.

Colour the stamping using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#108, #106, #109, #223, #217, #199).

Trim a piece of Toscana Companion paper to 7.25” square and a piece of Indian Summer Companion Paper to 7.75” square. Mat them up. Die cut a piece from the centre using the 5” nested squares die.

Using the Gnome Letterbox Alphabet, add ‘We will miss you’ and ‘Good Luck in your new home’ to the topper in Black Soot Distress Archival ink.

Mat up the topper.

Die cut a piece of black card using the 5” nested square die and add it behind the aperture.

Colour one of the houses using Sakura Moonlight pens.

To finish, add to the front of an 8” x 8” white card blank.
