Being on Christmas Eve, my husband's birthday is always the first celebration over Christmas. This was the last card I made before my cataract surgery earlier in the week.
Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the largest nested squares die and a mat from green card using the corresponding nested square picot die. Die cut a fancy frame from the topper using the largest nested square scallop doodle aperture frame-its die. Add the Christmas Doodle Montage frame into the centre in Black Soot Distress Archival ink. Add the Christmas tree icon in Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide. Add Happy Birthday into the largest aperture in the same ink using the Entwined Sentiments. Add Father Christmas from the Noel Open Framer stamp set in the same black ink as before.Add presents from the same set in the same ink. Add Husband in the same green ink as before using Barbara’s Relations. Paint the presents using Rustic wilderness Distress ink picked up off a glass mat with a watercolour brush pen.To finish, mat up the topper and add it to the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank.
