Wishing You Well with Trees

I combined the simple frames stencil with the KISS Build a Scene Grunge Tree stamps for this card.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the largest nested squares die and a mat from black card using the largest nested squares picot die.

Using the Simple Frames stencil, add Twisted Citron Distress ink through one of the apertures using a Clarity stencil brush. Use a Spot-On sponge to drag the ink from the edge for more definition.

Continue in the same manner using Tumbled Glass and Mustard Seed Distress inks in addition.

Continue adding ink in the same way as before until the topper background is ready.

Add the Wishing You Well Doodle button from the Tina’s Sunshine Doodles set in Black Soot Distress archival ink plus the tiny hearts from the same set.

Add trees from the Grunge Trees A6 stamp set into each of the coloured areas in the same ink.

Add the sentiment from the same stamp set into the half aperture in the same way.

Add Colour below the trees and into the hearts using Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer water colour pencils and blend out with a water colour brush pen (#157, #278, #183).

To finish, mat up the topper and add it to the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank.
