Celebrate: Thinking of You

It seems to me that this card is the most suitable of the cards I have made recently to share as the people of the UK and all around the world remember and celebrate the life of Her late Majexty Elizabeth II today.

Die cut a topper from black card using the 2.5” nested circles die and a mat from silver card using the corresponding nested circles picot die.

Create an easel base by folding the front of a 5” x 5” black card blank in half.

For the front of the card, cut a 5” x 5” black card blank in half. Stamp the two corner flourishes from the Celebrate Kiss Flower set onto the front in Versamark ink and heat emboss with silver embossing powder.

Add the flourishes into the other corners in the same manner.

Add ‘celebrate’ onto the circle topper as before.

Add the flower head above the sentiment and the straight flourish below in the same manner.

Mat up the topper and add it to the card front.

To create the easel rest, trim a piece of black card to 1” x 5”, mat onto silver card leaving a narrow border top and bottom. Add one of the Kiss word stickers and add the two smaller flowers either side as before.

Add the stopper into the base of the easel with foam tape.

To finish, add the card front to the folded easel.
