Large Die Cut Butterfly and Stand

I love the effect of the large die cut butterfly layered up on its stand.  Here I combined the Waimea Falls designer papers with the plain companion papers.

Die cut the large Butterfly stand from Clarity stencil card. Die cut the solid butterfly from a piece of Waimea Falls Companion paper and the open die from a piece of Waimea Falls designer paper.

Stamp onto one side of the solid butterfly in Picked Raspberry Oxide using the small stamps in the Be Unique stamp set.

Add the open die cut to the other side of the solid butterfly.

Mask along the fold of the stand and add the large Be Unique stamp to the side with the longer slit in the same ink as before.

Add the Wishing You Well Doodle Kiss sentiment to the other side in Black Soot Distress Archival ink and one of the small stamps from the Be Unique stamp set into the centre in the same way as before.

To finish, fold the butterfly and add it to the stand.
