WOYWW 665: Back To Work

Well that week disappeared quickly and Wednesday is back again.  Sharing my desk as always with Julia and the gang at WOYWW hosted at Stamping Ground.

As you can see, I have started my second daily journal with a new 6" x 6" kraft scrapbook from The Works.  I had a bit of a mixed week off.  Plenty of crafting but my car failed its MOT last Friday.  Luckily Monday was an INSET day at the Bet365 stadium which is walking distance from home and the work was done by the end of the day.  I also had some tests at the hospital in the afternoon so hubby picked me up and dropped me off.  Just waiting for results now (1-2 weeks), but the Doctor didn't seem too concerned.

Such terrible news coming out of Ukraine.  Praying that the Russian megalomaniac will be ousted soon as the sanctions start to bite and his inner circle are affected.  I am just sorry that the ordinary Russian people are caught up in his machinations and will suffer too.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.  I will be round to visit later or in the morning.

Even though the doc wasn’t concerned, it’ll be good to get the results back to know you’re ok. I do like the cards on show today, especially the music one, blimey, that lyric takes me back a bit!

Lovely journal pages - you've certainly filled that one up quickly. Nearly all my sketchbooks look like that and I haven't found any that seem to have extra depth to allow for real collaging! Glad the car is now fixed and hope your hospital results are OK.
Have a good week,

Happy WOYWW. It must be very satisfying to finish one journal and start another. I am determined not to start any other projects until Journal Petite is done, which will be months at this rate! Ali x #17

Fingers crossed on the test results, hope the car can be brought up to scratch for you.
I have been so enjoying the cards you have been showing on FB - love the ones with the diamond stencil on - one of my favourite stencils (and most used) is called Diamonds in the 'Rough. Obviously those are my favourites that you made but all are lovely.

Hi Sarah, I hope your test results are ok. I used to take my Mum’s car to the garage at the top of Anchor Rd. Very helpful, but a bit far if you had to walk back.
Your daily journals are lovely, zi particularly lovely ke the one where you’ve used sheet music is the background.
Take care and happy WOYWW

Loving how the journal filed out so quickly, a right old fan of a book now! I hope you have a satisfaction in completing the first of what will be many if you ask me! Sorry about the MOT, it’s a tad inconvenient isn’t it, and so damn costly. Bart’s van had a service, passed its MOT and still cost over £500! ouch. Still, without a car, you’re banjaxed. I hope that you aren’t worried about the test results, that’s a long wait when you’re worried. Really like the journal pages, particularly the two with the harlequin background, the colour you’ve put on that is mesmerisingly lovely.

Hi Sarah, loving your big fat journal you are so impressive with your commitment to keeping this up. I can't start to tell you what my thoughts are about Putin as I hate him so much with what he is doing to the Ukrainian people and the young men of their own military who have no choice in this matter. I listened the other day to a young soldier speaking to his mother about what they were being forced to do and apparently it wasn't long after the conversation that he was killed. This man has no respect for life of any kind. Sorry about that Sarah but it makes me so sad. Take care and hope the results of your tests come back with good results. Take care my friend and wishing you a happy woyww, Angela x11x

Your pages are so cool!
Hope your test results are speedy and all is well.
I agree about the Ukraine and Russia.
I have to drive at least 10 miles to get to any stores or anything so I know how important a vehicle is. Hope yours gets repaired quickly and inexpensively.
Have a great week!

HI Sarah,
I hope the tests turn out OK! Your journal pages are lovely, I like the one with the boy, "little", and the ones with the diamonds - I used that stencil this week too! Have a great week, I'm sending peace and love to Ukraine and to Russia, and hope it all sends soon. Preferably without Putin. Lindart #23

Hi Sarah, hope all is good with the test results. And that your car passed its MOT too. Your journal pages are lovely. I like them all but I particularly love the yellow bird and the flowers. Can only agree with you about Putin - I think he must be certifiable! I'm praying his military leaders see sense and stage a coup. Have a great weekend despite everything. Hugs, Elizabeth x #24
