Birthday Butterflies

As soon as I saw the Clarity new design club stencil for this February, I knew which verse I was going to use with it.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the nested squares 5.5” die and a mat from black card using the corresponding nested squares picot die.

Attach the Clarity new design club butterfly stencil (#93) to the front of the topper using Clarity masking tape.

Blend Spun Sugar, Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac Oxides through the stencil with foam tools.

Go back over the stencil with Versamark ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder, heating from below for a smooth finish.

Add the verse from the Happiness is a Butterfly Poetry Verses stamp set into the corner in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.

Mat up the topper and add it to a 7” x 7” white card blank.

To finish, add Happy Birthday and Let’s Celebrate into the corner of the card in the same ink as the verse using stamps from the Clarity Christmas & Celebrations Words Sticker stamps.
