Happy Mother's Day

 This is the card I made for my mum for Mothers Day this year.  I am glad she liked it.

Die cut a heart from Clarity stencil card using the second largest nested hearts die.

Add the larger sunflower from the Make Art Not war Sunflowers stamp set to the heart in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.

Colour the sunflower with Faber-Castell Polychromos (#108, #107, #109, #111, #113, #115, #112, #266, #167, #278).

Make a mask for the sunflower using Clarity mask blanks and mask it up.

Lay the small honeycomb square stencil over the heart and blend Salty Ocean Distress ink through it using a Clarity stencil brush.  Move the stencil and repeat.  Remove the mask.

Working directly onto the front of a 7" x 7" white card blank, add Mustard Seed and Ripw Persimmon Distress inks through the same stencil as before using Clarity stencil brushes.

Die cut the nested square doodle frame-its frames from black card and add the largest frame to the card.

Edge the topper with a black pen and add it to the front of the card.

Mask off the bottom left-hand corner with masking tape and add the with love line sentiment from set 1 in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.  Remove the masking.

To finish, add For a Special Mum onto the heart in the same ink, using stamps from Barbara's Relations.
