WOYWW 652: Back To Work

Welcome to the latest desk sharing with Julia at Stamping Ground and the friendly bunch which make up WOYWW. The voice is more or less back and will be back at work today - here's hoping all goes well.  Just all the marking to catch up with now.

Not much change on my desk today.  I am still ploughing my way through the daily drawings, although I am getting a lot more relaxed and quicker with my attempts.  I have treated myself to the full set of 90 Kuretake Clean Colour brush pens which you can see at the back.  They came from Japan via Amazon so cost less than half the price they would if bought here.  I am busy punching sticky labels so I can see all the colours on the lids.

I hope all my American friends had a happy Thanksgiving.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW everyone.

I’m glad you’re better and hope that you don’t have to shout at the little darlings too much! I’ve never heard of those pens, they sound fantastic and you are good for labelling the ends, so much easier to see what’s what!

Was very glad to read that you’re finally feeling better and the voice is useable! Don’t overdo it in the catch up, you certainly don’t need to knock your health back this month! I saw your ‘shed’ photo on FB yesterday, it looks marvellous….a little like a shop workshop! Yum.

Those brush pens look fabulous and sticking coloured dots on the lids is just such an appealing job to the neat freak in me!! I love the daily drawings, and I'm glad you are much better and back at work.
Have a good week,

Pleased to hear you're feeling better and able to go back to school. They have had to close to secondary schools in Lincoln this week as there are too many staff off with covid. I am wondering how much longer it will be before they realise children and staff should wear masks. Take care and have a very happy and creative woyww. Hugs, Angela x16x

Oh that sounds really smart to make labels for the lids Sarah, ( I just have mine turned around backwards in the containers with other pens lids facing out) :) ~Stacy #23

Lovely drawings. Do the pens mean we'll be seeing colour in your drawings? Glad you are organised with the tops with so many to choose from. BJ#7

Glad to hear your better, Sarah, though the marking can't be too much fun. Those pens look enviable but I won't be tempted -:I have boxes of Promarkers to use up before I buy any more. Hope you enjoyed being back at work. Hugs, Elizabeth x #21

Happy Very Belated WOYWW !! That dessert sketch looks good. I am currently waiting for my 30 minutes after eating/drinking to do a lateral flow test, so all I can think about is some food/drink. Hope you are well and surviving work. Ali x #8
