A Clean and Simple Christmas Card

Always good to have quick and easy ideas for Christmas cards so I though I'd share this one.

Working directly onto the front of a 7” x 72 white card blank, mask off above and below the Christmas Trees on the October 2021 Clarity club stencil (#89) and add it to the front of the card.

Blend Festive Berries, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn and Salty Ocean Distress Oxides through the first five trees.

Move the stencil to the right-hand side of the card and blend Chipped Sapphire and Wilted Violet Distress Oxides through the last two trees. Remove the stencil.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 1” x 2” nested rectangles die and a mat from black card using the corresponding nested rectangles picot die.

Stamp ‘Ho! Ho! Ho!’ from Barbara’s Christmas sentiments onto the topper in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink and mat it up.

Add a double black line across the card above and below the trees using a black Posca pen.

Colour between the lines in the same ink.

To finish, add the topper to the card in the gap between the trees.
