Watercolour Fuchsia: Thinking of You

For my first sample using the new Clarity A6 Florals collection, I worked with the Fuchsia stamp set and made a sympathy card.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 3.75” x 4.75” nested ovals die and a mat from black card using the same die. Trim the picot edges off the stencil card topper.

Stamp the Fuchsia stamp from the A6 Floral collection onto the topper in Antique Linen Distress Oxide and mask it up.

Blend Tumbled Glass Distress ink over the topper using a Clarity stencil brush and remove the mask.

Colour the image using Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer water colour pencils scribbled onto a mix mat, picked up with a watercolour brush pen (#129, #125, #137, #172, #174).

Add Fuchsia to the topper in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink, mat up the topper and add it to the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank.

To finish, add the ‘Thinking of You’ sentiment from the same stamp set to the front of the card in the same ink as before.
