Watercoloured Thank You Card

I love the effect of stamping in a light coloured Distress Oxide then watercolouring over the top of the image.  I made this thank you card using the June 2021 Clarity New Design Club stamp offering.
Mask off the bottom 5cm of a 7” x 7” white card blank. Create a panel aperture 3cm wide using a second piece of Clarity mask blanks.
Add stamping into the aperture using the smaller of the Clarity New Design Club stamps from June 2021 (#176) in Antique Linen Distress Oxide. Continue stamping until the aperture is filled.
Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 3” nested circles die and a mat from black card using the 3.25” nested circles picot die.
Stamp the larger club stamp from the same set onto the topper in the same manner as before.
Use Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer watercolour pencils scribbled on a mix mat and a watercolour brush pen to colour the panel and the topper. Remove the masks.

Mat up the topper and add it to the front of the card.
To finish, add Thank you in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink using one of the Entwined Sentiment stamps.

Many thanks for your excellent tutorial. I shall certainly try out this technique as it is just right for the next card on my “making list”.. Beryl Sheppard xx
