12 Days of Christmas

I really like the fact that there will be no more arguments about the words to the 12 days of Christmas for the recipient of this card.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 3” nested square die and a topper from black card using the 3.25” nested square picot die.

Stamp the 12 lords a leaping stamps from the 12 days of Christmas set onto the topper in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.

Colour the image using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#170, #168, #121, #219, #108, #169, #263, #199, #132, #102, #189, #172) and mat it up.

Do the same again, this time using the Partridge in a Pear tree stamps (#121, #219, #170, #168, #182, #271, #272).

Trim a piece of Toffee Apple Designer paper to 4” x 8”.

Add the verses from 11 to 2 from the 12 days of Christmas at the bottom in the same ink as before and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

Trim a piece of Clarity stencil card to 8.5” x 8.25” and fold it in half to form a 4.25” x 8.25” card blank. Add a black line around the designer paper topper with a marker pen and add it to the front of the card.

Add the 12 Lords a Leaping topper.

Add the Partridge in a pear tree topper to the inside of the card.

To finish, add Merry Christmas in the same ink as before using Barbara’s Christmas sentiments.
