I decorated one of the new die cut cube boxes from Clarity to create a gift box for a little girl called Rose. The Rhyme Time Alphabet was useful too. This idea would work with any four lettered name!
Mask off along the top and bottom of one of the die cut cube boxes, leaving the four sides exposed. Blend a mixture of Kitsch Flamingo and Picked
Raspberry Distress Oxides over all four sides using foam tools. Remove the masking. When dry, go over the ink with an anti-static pad. Stamp onto the box in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink using the Rhyme Time Alphabet and heat emboss with clear embossing powder. Spell out the name Rose with one letter on each side of the cube. Add happy Birthday to the bottom panel of the cube in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink, using the Entwined Sentiments stamps. Heat emboss with clear powder.Add Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide to the top of the box. Blend Picked Raspberry Oxide through the Large Rose stencil (NDSC Back Issue #45).Finally, make up the box. I didn’t glue down the lid to allow for a small gift inside.
