Underwater Birthday Card

I am using all my Clarity New Design Club items this year (stamp, stencil and die).  This birthday card uses the stencil which I received in June this year.  It screamed underwater scene at me.

Stamp the seashell stamps at the bottom of a sheet of Clarity stencil card in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink and mask them up.

Add the coral from the tropical fish stamp set (currently unavailable) in the same ink. Use masking fluid to cover it.

Add the fish from the same stamp set. Make masks for them using Clarity mask blanks and mask them up.

Add Tumbled Glass, and Broken Chine Distress Oxides to a blending mat, spritz with water, mix, and drag the topper through the ink.

Repeat until the background is covered. Allow to dry naturally.

Lay the June 2021 Clarity New Design Club stencil (#85) over the topper and blend the same colours of Distress inks over the top. Remove the stencil and masks.

Colour the images using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#109, #111, #113, #115, #132, #131185, #184, #183, #186). Add shading below the shells/coral (#156).

Add a sentiment in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink using the Entwined Sentiment stamps.

To finish, mat onto black card leaving a narrow border and add to the front of an 8” x 8” white card blank.
