Fusible Fibre Corset Birthday Card

These newly configured and extended Corset stamps from Clarity were crying out to be used with fusible fibres.  I also had some shaving foam marbled backgrounds that I thought would combine well with them.  This is the result.

Create a shaving foam marble background on a piece of Clarity stencil card.
Use the 5.5” nested square die to cut a panel. Cut a mat from black card using the 5.75” nested square picot die.
Stamp the mannequin from the Corset stamp set onto the marble background in Hickory Smoke Distress archival ink.
Use water colour pencils to add shading to the form, blended out with a watercolour brush pen. Add shading below the mannequin with a Faber-Castell big brush marker, blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nib.
Ink up the corset with Black Soot archival ink. Add some fusible fibres over the top, lay a piece of baking paper over the top and iron with a hot dry heat until the stamping shows through.
Trim the excess fibres and add the corset on top of the mannequin with strong double sided tape.
Stamp the smallest tag onto Clarity stencil card in Onyx Black Versafine ink, add a price using a black micron pen, fussy cut and add to the bottom of the corset.
Stamp the tape measure down the topper towards the left hand side in Hickory Smoke archival ink.
Add Happy Birthday in Black Soot archival ink using the Entwined sentiment stamps.
To finish, mat onto the black panel and add to the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank.
