I felt honoured that Barbara Gray chose this sample that I made, to use as one of her demos, when these In the Garden stamps by Linda Williams were introduced. In case you missed it, here's the step by step.
Trim a piece of Clarity stencil card to 6.75” x 6.75”. Draw a light pencil line 4cm up from the bottom.
Stamp one of the deckchairs from the Linda Williams - In the Garden stamp set of the same name towards the middle of the line in Watering Can archival ink.
Mask off the stamp and add a further stamp to the left in the same ink. Repeat for a second time, moving the mask across. Add the other deckchair on its own towards the right hand side of the page in the same ink. Erase the pencil line when the ink is dry. Colour the images using Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer water colour pencils, blended out with a large watercolour brush pen. Add the topper to the front of a 7” x 7” black card blank. To finish, add a couple of Barbara’s word stickers.
