WOYWW 578: Three Weeks To Go

Wednesdays seem to come round quickly, yet the week seems to have crawled by as well.  Welcome to my weekly desk share in accordance with WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday). I shall be linking up with Julia and everyone else at the Stamping Ground as usual.
When I took this photo yesterday, I had lots of good intentions.  I have the materials pack for stamp class 3 from Maria Moorhouse out as I hadn't started any of the four projects this month and also some tags, as I haven't added to my latest ring journal since last week.  However, apart from watching Barbara Gray in the SHAC shack, I did little crafting yesterday and in fact haven't done much in a week.  Somehow, being in school seems to have drained my mojo.  Luckily, I have enough blog projects to keep me posting until the end of term.
I should have been in Berlin this week with Y8 pupils and sharing photos of the zoo and other places.  Perhaps that's why I feel so flat.  A shout out to all the Y7 and Y8 who aren't in school at the moment.
I'll leave you with some photos from last year's trip and the one set of tags which represent the only crafting that I have managed this week.

Stay safe everyone.  Happy WOYWW to you all.  I shall get round to visiting by the weekend I am sure, I managed it last week.

I haven't done anything this week either (no emergency birthday cards required!) maybe at the weekend... the whole of lockdown seems to have drained my mojo,I think it's natural when you're trying to work as well. Hope you have a good week. Helen #1

Morning Sarah. I'm sure you are not alone in feeling a little flat and out of mojo. A friend and I described it as walking through treacle this week!! I like those two tags, and our walk through Berlin was great. School trips were never like that when I went to school - more like a trip to Wembley for the ladies world hockey final!
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

Wait until you come out of lockdown properly. You think oh I'll do this and that and wham when you can you don't. Still the crafting will still be there when your mojo is back. Ani

Hi Sarah, feeling a bit flat is only to be expected as you try to ease back into a more 'normal' way of life than you have had. You are missing being at home probably where you could get some crafting done. As you say the missed trip to Berlin doesn't help - I love Berlin, a very interesting city and I just love all the 'bits' like the Ritter Berlin Bear that you see as you walk about. Thanks for the remainder of some of the interesting features of the city.
Have a good week, craft if you can but don't worry if you can't, those projects will not go anywhere.

Morning Sarah, it's incredible how the sudden return to past normalities are having a diverse effect on so many of us. I hope your mojo returns whilst you share your past makes. I've missed a holiday also one we should have been going on this Saturday but if it helps make our world safer it's a small sacrifice.
Love those tags.. keep smiling & stay creative Hugs Tracey #8

Understandable to be a little flat when you really should be in Berlin. Lovely photos or your previous trip and I think those tags have come out very nicely indeed. Have a crafty and safe week.

Maybe it's the weather change as well but I haven't wanted to sew as much ether this week - hopefully things will be getting better as the new routine kicks in. Lovely photos from Berlin, I do like the bear's colourful trousers!

I think it comes and goes, the flat feeling. And now you’re back at work in some kind of routine, it must feel strange. Am sure that things will pick up for you and something will make your mojo bounce back. You probably could do with a rest from catching deadlines!! Lovely shots of Berlin, I can understand why you’re a bit wistful about this year’s cancelled trip.

G'morning Sarah!

It is both good and bad that you aren't able to travel at the moment. Bad because missing a lot of fun. Good because you have time to do what needs to do. I guess all people all over the world is a kind of lack of energy. Lack of Mojo more or less because of all what is happening. It is so at the moment all the things that are happening around the world influence us where we live. Oh! It's hard to explain but I guess you know.

Wonderful pictures from the last trip.WOW! I love your tags! They are so beautiful!!
Thank you for mentioning Barbara Gray. I must admit I have forgotten all about her at the moment!! So I hurried back to see her videos.

Thank you so much for sharing!

Happy WOYWW

Hi Sarah!
I get you not feeling happy! We all have these days. Yesterday was a really down one for me as our flight to Slovenia has been cancelled! Another month of hoping and waiting! Lovely photos of Berlin - never been there although it is on my bucket list! My German is not very good - although I have studied German! I will have to buy some German books and start reading and get back into it! Love your tags!
Love and hugs,
Cardarian

It's very odd when you should have been somewhere else entirely isn't it? Miss B should have been on her last primary school trip last week in Devon and instead of a secondary presentation, we've been sent lots of videos instead. We had a zoom meeting with the SENCO yesterday too so we are very grateful for all the amazing tech we have available now. I hope your mojo comes back very soon but I do like your little chap reading in the corner. Have a lovely week, Lisa-Jane #15

oooh Sarah I love those photos. The cathedral is gorgeous. I love seeing pictures of places I have never been to. I hear you on the gloomy feelings that hit from time to time. Last year this time I was on our annual family vacation on Martha's Vineyard. We rent a house and spend a week shopping, hanging out, and visiting the beaches. We bring my in-laws and my sister in law and it is so much fun. So I get it. But then I am having great progress with my crafty projects and reading so things aren't always so bad. Stay well, my friend.

Hi Sarah, my crafting has been intermittent to say the least. Too much other stuff going on. Hope your mojo returns soon. I have had periods when I have felt quite deflated. Nice tags, in my favourite colours. Have a lovely week, Heather xx #16

It's so sad not to be doing all the fun things that were booked for this year - I am feeling rather flat about the approaching school holidays. I love your two tags. Happy WOYWW. Take care and stay safe, With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#17)

Hi Sarah.

I think you're probably right that another week in semi-lockdown when you should have been somewhere exciting and different is a bit mojo-sapping, and I imagine being in school also takes up a lot of your time and energy.
Hopefully you can find time for a little something at the weekend!

Take care,

Happy WOYWW Day! Love the photos of Berlin, especially the bear. Mustn't tell Mr B though... he'll drag me over there just to go to the Ritter Sport shop... Marzipan is my fave!

Hope your mojo returns! Mine comes and goes... usually out when I need it the most.
Fun pictures. The bear is a hoot! No one is going anywhere here either.
Cool tags! Love the color blending on the right one.
Have a great week!

HI Sarah, I think that sounds about normal now, it's harder to find the joy when there are so many pressures trying to steal it lately. So, I have given my self permission to make ugly things until I get to where it flows and I make things I like when I am done haha. :) ~Stacy #31

Happy Belated WOYWW. I have been so busy with the business/website side of joining Stampin'Up! and developing my blog generally, I haven't done much crafting either. The days just seem to whizz by, and in the evenings I am either too tired or watching tv with hubby. Great photos from last year. Hope you can get on school trips next year. Ali x #18

Hopefully your mojo will soon return although normality might take longer. My grand daughter went to school for 2 hours today and not happy when she returned as she thought it was a waste of time, but I am sure they had their reasons. That is a very colourful bear x Angela #38

Sorry to hear you're feeling a bit flat and lacking in mojo at the moment, Sarah. I am sure you will pick up as things gradually return to normal, and once you can get together with Eva again for your weekly crafty sessions too. I love your tags, and it was nice to see the pictures of the previous Berlin tour. Our school trips were a picnic on Ascension Day and that was about it! We never did anything exciting and certainly never travelled abroad. How things have changed!!

Thank you for your visit. I'm glad you like the green FO (love FO lol! No longer UFO!) and the more I think about it, the more I know I am going to have to redo the bottom ribbing on the black one. I shan't be satisfied till I do. I'm glad you enjoy my foodie bits too! Cooking and nutrition are my other passions apart from art and crafting. I had another very productive telephone appointment this afternoon which I have now blogged about, and she's booking me in for a bladder scan. I'm definitely optimistic that she's going to improve my situation.

Happy belated WOYWW,

I remember you were in Berlin last year, posting pictures, and I can feel the 'flattness' you experience, we all have days/weeks like that. No worries, the mojo and your energy will return I'm sure! A haircut next week might help?! Thanks for your compliment about my new hair/look. Happy, belated woyww and hug-from-a-distance! Marit #26
