Black and White with a Spot of Colour: A Tag

This tag was a quick project for the Tag Tuesday fortnightly challenge: Black,White with a Spot of Colour.  I enjoyed working with a restricted colour palette for a change.
I started by giving a #8 manilla tag a coat of black gesso.
Once dry, I covered the whole tag with a piece of Melange Tissue Wrap by Tim Holtz; sealing, drying and trimming.
The next step was to mask off an area of the mini Party Lights stencil (TCW) and add DecoArt white modelling paste through it.
For my 'spot of colour' I blended Empire Gold Pebeo gilding wax over the bulb filaments, once the modelling paste was dry.
As I don't have any moth stamps, I used the butterfly stamp from the Flutterby set (Tim Holtz / Stampers' Anonymous) which looked closest to a cabbage moth, stamped it onto white pearlescent paper using Jet Black Archival ink, then die cut it with the matching die (Tim Holtz/ Sizzix 662269).  A piece of black wire was bent and added at the back to form the antennae.
A suitable sentiment from the Small Talk sticker set (Tim Holtz idea-ology) finished the tag.
