Flowers more numerous than stars: Art Journal Page

This page is the fourth that I've created for the April prompt over on Nina Ribena's Art Journal Prompts and More: Spring.  It also fits the weekend challenge from Lou Withers over on Junk Journals and Mindful Mixed Media Art: Paint a page black, then create something with the theme of nature.
I painted a piece of mixed media card (18.5cm x 19.5cm) black.
On a separate piece of mixed media card the same size, I started adding Spectrum Noir Aqua Tints one colour at a time, by adding drops to my glass mat and dabbing my card into it in different places, drying in between each colour.  First #37...
Then #30...
For the next colour (#12) I tried adding drops directly to the page and giving each a spritz of water.
Next came #53 using the same method.
Finally #50.
I punched as many flowers as I could out of the page using the Martha Stewart stamp and punch flower.
Each one then had the centre stamped in, using one of the stamps which comes with the punch and Jet Black Archival ink.
Having attempted a layout on the black background,  I decided that I needed some additional flowers.  These were punched out of white card and the centres stamped in either Dandelion or Monarch Orange Archival inks.
All the flowers were then glued to the background to form a cascade across the page.
Next, the Spring stamp from Claritystamp (a New Design Club back issue) was stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed in gold EP.
Finally, the rest of my made up quote was printed out using my Dymo Letratag, trimmed and added to the page.
