So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Goodbye

This is another farewell card for a member of staff at our school.  Although a mathematician, she has a passion for languages too.
I started with a mop up sheet with Blueprint Sketch ink on it and wrapped around a piece of stamping card measuring 19cm x 19cm.
I die cut the cogs and gears create a card die from a piece of Sheena's stamping card, trimmed round all four sides and coated the frame section with Cosmic Shimmer Metallic Gilding Polish is Graphite.
Before I glued the frame into place, I stamped a verse which seemed apt to me into the centre of the mop up topper.  For this I used Versamark ink and heat embossed the verse using detail black embossing powder.
Having glued down the frame, I now matted the topper onto a piece of black card measuring 19.5cm x 19.5cm.

Finally, I added a Good Luck peel off which was coloured black using a Permapaque marker and matted the whole topper onto a 20cm x 20cm pre made white card.
