As soon as I saw this challenge, I knew exactly the stamps to use. I have all the stamps in the Weird Science collection by IndigoBlu because so many of my family are scientists (one way or another).
As my junk journal notebook already has ivory coloured pages, I stamped and heat embossed directly onto the bare pages. I used Versamark ink and heat embossed using Cosmic Shimmer Ancient Copper embossing powder and also Copper Tinsel embossing powder by Stampendous. Sometimes I used an acrylic block, but mostly I held each stamp in my hand to ink it up and press it onto the page, especially when stamping across the fold in the centre. The quote is from the Chemistry Lab stamp set and is by Albert Einstein. These are well loved and much used stamp sets which I have used for everything from birthday and 'sorry you're leaving' cards to inserts for coasters as a secret Santa gift. They also came in useful for a congratulations card.
To add the Royal Blue colour, I simply gave the pages a couple of mists with the Blueprint Sketch Distress spray as I wanted a light touch of colour only. A clean and simple art journal layout.
