Doodle Flowers Cascading Card

I was asked to make a cascading card by a friend.  I haven't made one for ages but I am really pleased with the dramatic effect of the finished piece using Tina Cox's Doodle Flowers (designed for Claritystamp).

Why, Why, Why? Once a Fan, Always a Fan: Art Journal Page

I thought it was about time that I caught up with the Mission Inspiration prompts for July.  Given two of the prompts and the fact that it's our first home match of the season tomorrow, the theme was a no brainer!  Three suggested colours (Yellow Ochre, Burnt Orange and Grey), eight steps and a choice of five word prompts were the usual order of the day for this monthly challenge.

ATCs: F is for...

My ATC swap partner for the Junk Journal Junkies and Mindful Art for this month was the extremely talented Lou Withers, so I had to make sure that my ATCs were as good as possible.  This month's prompt was 'F', so I decided on 'fairies', 'farm' and 'flying free' as my themes.  All the stamps that I used are by Claritystamp and most of the stamping was done using Versamark ink and heat embossed in detail black embossing powder.

JJJ and Mindful Art 18: The Change, Purple, Orange, Green

I must admit that this isn't my favourite colour combination, so I was quite surprised how quickly this page came together.  However, I don't like missing a challenge on Junk Journals Junkies and Mindful Art, so I had a go.  I'm not entirely sure about the finished piece but I love the quote.

Happy Birthday Sister-in-Law

It is my sister-in-law's birthday today, but as we won't be able to see her until the weekend, I thought I'd at least share her card so that she gets it today - if only in virtual form.

WOYWW #382 More Brusho Backgrounds

Hi and welcome to What's On Your Workbench Wednesday as hosted on Julia's Stamping Ground.  This is my desk as it looked late yesterday after a day's crafting with my friend.  She was batch making toppers for Christmas cards using Brushos and Pixie Powders as a background.  I loved the look of what she was doing and had a go myself.  The result: one complete card, a topper and an amazing background sheet.
