Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness. Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch. October already!!!
As you can see, the desk picture is a bit different today. Eva and I spent Saturday at a slip casting workshop at Alex Allday Ceramics and the desk shows our pre fired results. Can't wait to collect the finished pieces. We are off to a workshop with Tilly Tea Dance this coming Saturday so you will see the results of that next week.Sadly now in 3rd place. Most of you will have heard about the devastating fire at Mr and Mrs Dunnit's workshop and the total loss of the building and everything inside. LLJ very kindly made a collection to which I know many of us contributed and arranged for flowers to be sent to Julia. I know we are all thinking about them.
Before I forget, proof that I have made a start in my Ledger Journal.
Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

what fun you and Eva had on Saturday - i hope the fired results are good! Enjoy Tilly's workshop this Saturday! It was truly devastating to hear about Julia and Bart. Enjoy the journal! Helen #3
Looks like a great time, and a workshop too! Busy retirement for sure. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the pictures of the fire. I visited the shop with Julia, on the way to a crop, I think, and I can’t imagine that level of loss. I’m still reeling from it. Stay safe.

Oh WOW what a great photo and super pieces too. Oh my goodness I hadn't heard of the fire but I certainly know of the devastation of fire as this happened to my family home back in the 80's. I hope no one was hurt. Nice to see the ledger Journal started, that's about where I am with my new journal. Hugs BJ#9
That’s a lovely pic of you and Eva! Your ceramics look great and I hope you enjoy Tilly’s workshop next weekend as well. Poor Julia and Bart, it was such a shock for them, the flowers were much appreciated.
Hugs LLJ 2 xx
That slip casting workshop sounds great, and what a treat to follow it with a TTea Dance one this weekend, nice! Loving your chrysanthemum rendition particularly from the week's drawings. And a thank you for your part in the bouquet, I don't think I'll ever be able to explain what it said to us.
I hadn't heard about the fire! Life just keeps on happening. Casting is a lot of fun- looking forward to the results! Robyn #11
