I had a birthday card to make for my son and decided to use the new Build a Background stamps together with the Alphabet and Numbers masks from Clarity Crafts. I combined them with one of the Barb's Landscapes Backdrop Print Toppers.
Choose one of the toppers from the Barb's Landscapes Backdrop Prints and add 26th using the Open Alphabet & Numbers masks.
Add some of the stamps from the Suns and Moons Build a Background stamp set onto Clarity stamp pens.
Add a couple of the stamps multiple times around the masks in Dusty Concord Distress Archival ink.
Repeat using two different stamps in Faded Jeans Distress Archival ink. Continue adding stamping in Mulberry Archival and Peeled Paint Distress Archival inks.
Lightly brush Lost Shadow Distress ink over the background and remove the masking.
Add Happy Birthday from the Bip the Bear Billboard stamps above and below the numbers in Night Sky Archival ink.
Trim the topper to 4" x 4".
Add a drop shadow just inside the numbers and letters using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#232, #233).
To finish, edge the topper with a dark grey ProMarker and add it to the front of a 5" x 5" white card blank.
