October ATC: Words/Orange

 I really like the fact that the prompts for the month's ATC swap on Clarity Crafts Mini Makes and ATCs are released before the the list of pairs is announced.  That way I can get ahead and be prepared to post mine out at the start of the month.  The prompt for October was words/orange and this is what I ended up with.

For the ATC, I chose one of the small stencil card backgrounds that I created at the retreats in the summer.

This was trimmed to ATC size (3.5" x 2.5").

I added some of the Build a Background Sentiment stamps in Monarch Orange Archival ink.

Then highlighted a letter in each word with a black Posca pen to form an acrostic.

I added a second set of words using the same ink and stamp set.

And highlighted letters in the same way as before.

A third acrostic was added in the same manner.

I couldn't fit a fourth acrostic in but had a go anyway.

I couldn't forget to include Paul!  Then I had to complete the back of the ATC in the usual manner.

That completed the ATC.

For the accompanying card, I chose a further background from my collection.

I added one of the Leonie's Words stamps in Jet Black Archival ink.

Followed by one of the Build a Background SHAC People stamps in the same ink.

To finish, the topper was edged with a black Sharpie pen and added to the front of a 4" x 4" white card blank.
