I recently took part in an online workshop with Barbara Gray using alcohol inks on a gel plate. It was fabulous fun and well worth a look. I decided to use one of my many small background pieces to make my first Christmas card (that was not a sample) of 2025.
I chose one of the many backgrounds I created in the workshop.Just the first lot - this is addictive |
I die cut a second piece of the same size stencil card using the 3" nested square die to create a frame.I added the nativity scene from the Christmas Mega Build a Background stamp set in Jet Black Archival ink.Followed by one of the I Am Essential Christmas Sentiment stamps in the same ink.I then added the frame. The topper was edged with a black Sharpie pen. Before adding the topper to a 4" x 4" white card blank, I grounded the nativity scene using a cool grey pencil.
