Leafy Retro Father's Day Card

This time I used one of the Retro stamp sets designed by Tina Cox for Clarity Crafts to create a Father's Day card.  I went with green and gold as green was my late Dad's favourite colour.

Mask off round the edges of a 7” x 7” white card blank using Clarity low tack tape.

Spritz Twisted Citron, Mustard Seed and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide spays into the centre and pat dry.

Add stamping using the leaf stamps from the Tina’s Retro Hearts and Leaves set in Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide.

Stamp the rectangle leaf panel onto a piece of Amazonia designer card in Versamark ink and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.

Fussy cut the panel.

Add the Happy Father’s Day sentiment onto the same designer card in a like manner. Trim round.

Run an embossing pen round the sentiment panel and heat emboss in gold.

Add the leaf spray stamp to the card front once using gold embossing.

Remove the low tack tape from the card.

Finish by adding the sentiment and leaf panels using foam pads.
