Garden of England Film Strip

I enjoyed combining various techniques to create this card using the Garden of England stamp set from Clarity Crafts.

Trim a piece of black paper to 21cm x 4”. Die cut one of the Doodle Frame-Its Aperture dies down each side to create a film strip edge.
Die cut panels from the strip using the 3” nested squares die.
Add one of the Kent Garden of England stamps to the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank in Black Soot Distress archival ink.
Add sections of the same stamp to an offcut of Clarity designer paper in Versamark ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder.

Fussy cut and paper piece them over the image on the front of the card.
Colour the sea, the sky and the lighthouse using Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer watercolour pencils blended out with a watercolour brush pen. (#153, #155, #146, #140, #219).
Add the film strip and trim the ends.
Add Kent the garden of England into the top and bottom film strip aperture in the same black ink as before.
Add the #3 Fabric Fields 1 mask at the right-hand side of the card. Blend Peeled Paint and Rusty Hinge Distress inks over the edge of the card using Clarity stencil brushes.
Add the sentiments as before over the inked panel and remove the mask.
To finish, cut a further strip of film strip edging from black card using the corresponding Doodle Frame-Its Edger die, add it along the side of the inking cutting to fit and trimming the ends.
