Dahlia Diagonals

I used one of the new aperture mats from Clarity as a backdrop to these Dahlia Floral Panel stamps.

Lay the A4 square aperture mat diagonally over the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank and attach it with low tack tape.

Add the square Panel from the A5 SHAC Dahlia set into the top right corner in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink and mask up the flowers.

Blend Saltwater Taffy and Squeezed Lemonade Distress inks through the apertures and remove the aperture mat.

Remove the masks. Add the square and smaller rectangle floral panels from the A6 stamp set in the same ink as before.

Add a couple of the sentiments from the Dahlia mini sayings as before.

Colour the Dahlia panel on the white background with the same Distress inks as before, picked up off a glass mat using a watercolour brush pen.

To finish, add white gel pen to the Dahlia heads on the inky background.
