WOYWW 717: Taking It Easy (Not)

I can't believe we are into March already. I didn't find it so difficult to get back to normal after this operation compared with the first.  Both eyes are fine and I have some off the peg reading glasses which work better now both eyes have been done.

My desk shows the February 2023 Clarity Club stencil that I had my first crafty play with post operation.

Monday was an INSET day so no pupils and I had time to finish all the jobs that needed doing by yesterday evening.  Today is the first day back with pupils so I will see how things go as it is a very full day.

I also finally had chance to get my hair cut yesterday as I am now driving again.  I just need to organise an MOT for my car now and hope it passes without a great deal of work.  I won't be able to book a service until the Easter holidays.

I cheated with these two as they were drawn in advance pre operation.
First drawing done post op.
We have a meeting after school as usual this evening so it may be tomorrow before I get to visit.  Don't forget to visit other more interesting desks than mine c/o Julia at Stamping Ground.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW everyone (and Happy Silver Anniversary to BJ and Chris for yesterday).

Hooray for both your eyes being so great now after two successful operations!! Onwards and upwards, it must be marvellous to be driving again, I’d hate not be able to get out when I wanted. Good luck with the MOT, always a lucky dip as to whether it’ll be expensive or lottery win time lol! The drawings are great but I’m sorry, I still snigger at a particular one….infantile I know!!!!

Hi Sarah! Glad things all went well, you must be so relieved to get your life back to normal! Love your drawings - that is quite a leap to make in a car! I don't think I would want to make that leap! Have a great week, good luck with the MOT, Lindart #17

Brilliant Sarah, both eyes good and a pair of readers, great result, hope yesterdays full on day at school wasn’t too tiring on them. You know I’ve got a dodgy eye since the old brain op, after a screen heavy day or concentration in the workshop, I struggle to keep it comfortable with all the drops and gel I have to use. Ironically when it’s tired, it floats open because I lose the control I learned over the muscle, so I know how tired your eyes can get. Early nights for you! Loving that you did a couple of pics in advance…this is what I mean, you could never be accused of being lazy! So glad you’re independent again in terms of driving, makes life so much easier doesn’t it!
