WOYWW 718: Back To Normal

Welcome to my weekly desk share thanks to Julia at Stamping Ground and WOYWW.

I was working on some secret stuff some upcoming  Clarity shows yesterday when this photo was taken.  Can't show you new products but these were some of the dies I used for the last sample.
The daily drawings are still going well and I am back into the swing of marking and lessons.  This is a very short half term so only 3 weeks after this one unbelievably.  On Saturday I will be attending the 40th anniversary celebrations of the South Staffordshire branch of the Society of Recorder Players.  Our 6th form recorder consort members were among the founders of the group run by our (former) music teacher.  Looking forward to catching up with old school friends.
I am front right (with Crumhorn) in the photo of our Early Music Group from the same period and our music teacher with whom I am still in touch is back right.
Stay safe and Happy WOYWW everyone.

That is a short term! Can't remember any of those when I was teaching - maybe it's just bad memory.
How fab to have the reunion, hope you meet lots of old friends and renew acquaintances.
Hugs, Neet 7 xx

Well I wouldn’t have recognised you, what a great photo! The reunion will be fun, a bit staggering that it’s the 40th anniversary which makes us old enough to remember the start..argh!!
I really like the circle frames die, very interested to see what you’ve been up to! I don’t generally ‘do’ butterflies, no idea why…so again, will enjoy your take- that is a big butterfly isn’t it!

I play the big recorder, tenor I think. Peter put it away when he was clearing all his instruments into the loft, I hope to be able to get it back this year as SIL says he'll go up into the loft and catalogue all the instruments!
Love the photo, and it's so very good to think you have stayed together through the years . . .
Have a good week

So glad to hear you are back to normal and the school work is going well. Super drawings this week, I love the images you choose for the prompts especially as they as often way off what first comes to mind for me! The dies look cool and can't wait to see what you do with them. As for the school photo is delightful, what a super history to the group. Just had to google crumhorn, new one on me, still not sure which one you are though! Hugs BJ#11

Hi, Sarah,
Although I’ve been missing in action, I’m still following. (Lots of illness and a young death in our family). Haven’t been up to crafting for a long while. But I’m still here.
Are you happy with your eye surgery outcomes? I just had my first cataract surgery yesterday. 2nd in two weeks. It’s like I have Vaseline on the lens of my camera.
Take care,
Kathryn
