Stencil Background with Tag Focal Point: Tina's Wildflower Spray

For my final sample using Tina's Wildflower Spray stamps and stencil, I used the stencil on it's own to create a background and the large stamp on a tag as the focal point.  I do seem to keep coming back to tags in one shape or form.
Trim a piece of the large Clarity stencil card to 20cm x 13.8cm. Lay the Wildflower stencil over the top and brush Picked Raspberry Distress ink through it.  Using the sonnet stamp from the Mixed Media Journal set, add stamping through the aperture using Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide.
Move the stencil and repeat the process until the background is complete.
Cut a tag from Clarity stencil card using the largest Nested Arch Tag die.
Add the top layer of a paper towel mop up sheet with gel medium. Seal, dry and trim the excess.
Add stamping in Vibrant Fuchsia Archival ink using the same sonnet stamp as before.
Stamp the wildflower spray onto the tag in Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat emboss with clear powder.
Cut a mat for the tag by drawing round the outside of the die on black card and fussy cutting. Mat the tag onto the black card.
Using the entwined sentiments and Onyx Black Versafine ink, add With Love and Happy Birthday to the background and heat emboss with clear powder.  Mat the background onto black card (20.5cm x 14.3cm and add to the front of an A5 white hammered card blank.
To finish, add the tag to the front of the card.
Stay safe everyone.

Love the bright colours & the way the background is done. My stamps etc arrived yesterday so I am hoping to have a play later on. Need to complete a few other projects first otherwise I will be having a larger pile of ufp's which I am trying to complete whilst we have all this spare time on our hands. What spare time the days fly by & still have loads to do, so thankful for my hobbies.

Love the colours you have used. It's a lovely sunny day here in Glasgow so ideal for drying washing. I have been busy making a card this morning and even duug out the embossing powders for it. Loving having all this time for craft.
