Using Scrap from a Die to Decorate a Card

The scrap from the Waimea Falls designer card was too pretty to waste, so I used it to decorate the sentiment panel on this card.
Die cut the Square Framework Pattern Overlay Aperture die from a piece of the 7” x 5” Waimea Falls designer card.
Cut a 5” x 5” black card blank in half. Die cut a panel from one half of the card using the Vertical Twists Pattern Overlay Aperture die and use the 4.5” nested square picot die to create a narrow border.
Mat the frame over the aperture in the designer card. Add a panel of white card behind the aperture.
Trim 0.25” off the bottom of the designer card, mat it onto black card leaving a very narrow border all round. Trim a 7” x 7” white card blank to 7” x 5.25” and add the topper to the front.  Trim part of the excess card blank to 4” x 1.5”. Add three pieces of scrap from the first die cut.
Add three of Barbara’s word stickers and mat onto black card leaving a narrow border.
To finish, add the sentiment topper to the front of the card.
